MEDIUM // Professional grade acrylics on a wood slice. It is finished with an epoxy resin coating. Giving it a high gloss shine like glass.
This original painting was created on a slice of a tree branch. The wood came from a free-fallen branch found in the woods of Manitoba which I've cut and sanded, but I made it so you can still see the beautiful rings of the tree. Reminiscent of ripples in water. It was then painted with acrylics and finished with epoxy. It's a lovely piece of art that can be displayed on your desk, shelf or any other space where you are looking to add a pop of artwork.
The painting will come with a black wood easel to display it on. This piece can also be hung in a shadow box, or on a wall. Please write me a message if you would like to hang it, and I will be happy to mount it on a hook free of charge.
The backside is unpainted but sealed, signed and dated.
