Moonlit Forest Pocket Compass
Find your way amongst the stars with this one of a kind gold pocket compass. On the inside lid of this traditional compass, I've hand-painted a starry sky over a forest silhouette. There's a bright full moon high in the sky giving this piece a magical feel. I used acrylic paint and finished it with a high gloss varnish. In certain angles of light, you can see the broad brush strokes I've laid down before adding the smaller fine details in. Each compass is one of a kind, all individually painted by me. The compass is functional, yes, and does point north!
