About the artwork:

This is my Mothman painting! He is one of my favourite folklores. Mothman was first seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia in the late 1960s. Described as a large, winged humanoid with glowing red eyes, Mothman has been associated with various eerie sightings and unexplained phenomena. It is said he tried to warn the locals of the tragic bridge collapse.

I painted this eerie scene of him flying above a treeline at dusk. The sky transitions from deep blue at the top to a lighter, purple hue near the horizon. A full moon hangs prominently in the sky, casting its gentle light across the scene, while stars dot the night.

Against this backdrop, tall, leafy trees stand in silhouette, their dark forms standing out from the night sky. Hovering ominously among the treetops is the figure of Mothman, his dark, foreboding presence starkly contrasting with the serene natural setting, introducing an element of intrigue and mystery.
