Northern Lights Over The Lakeside, Painted Pocket Compass
I've hand-painted green northern lights on the inside lid of this traditional compass. I used acrylic paint and finished it with a high gloss varnish. In certain angles of light, you can see the broad brush strokes I've laid down before adding the smaller fine details in. Each compass is one of a kind, all individually painted by me.
